Bad t5 bulb after 3 hours?

i have two 80 watt ati blue plus bulbs powered by a workhorse 7 ballast. All brand new.

The bulbs went online this morning and one bulb quit working after 3 hours of use. No sign of it being blown. No black marks in tube. Nor scortch marks on the ends. I swapped the bulbs and the other worked in its spot.

Anyone have this happen before?

Sounds like a defective bulb. It happens.

That happened to me with the Coral Plus once. Chalked it up to a bad bulb as it never happened again.

I hope so. I'm gonna test the voltage in the ballast just to make sure it's not too high.
