You rinsed it with freshwater??? I tried that once with an acan and the acan lost all it's color. Now i just use iodine dip.

put it right under the faucet actually... haha did that with another one of my corals as well... can't remember which one..

If you still have it next to the Ricordia you better move it. It is your killer and will continue to sting your scoly as they inflate and cross paths. There is your culprit

you think? thank you for the advice i was thinking that but didn't think a ric would do that... thanks ALOT zoanuts

oh and sorry and thanks for correcting the title... rev i'm assuming?

ha you'd be surprised what came out of it sink was full b/c i was curious and stopped the drain

No problem. :D

Glad you found your problem! They grow back fast huh!

i'm amazed at how fast they do! i thought he was a goner i was so depressed as it's barely two weeks old in my tank

Nate,

I have had this happen more than once with the beautiful ricordia going to war with a scoly and for some crazy reason the beautiful ricordia wins. LOL Go figure

this is why i love reef2reef because sponsors who have vast amounts of knowledge are actually allowed to share that info with us w/o being immediately accused of trying to push their product

Our sponsors are DA bomb! They are actually "sponsors" that help pay for the site to run, but also share a wealth of knowledge. ;)
