Baffled with acro deaths

I am jealous now. I was just say to myself yesterday I need to have RO/DI storage tank. Making your own salt mix may be a pain in the beginning, but you will have more control in the long run.

I'm currently buying my water from the LFS and they use Aquavitro Salinity. Their water is only RO instead of RODI.

I finally have the room to set up my own water mixing station which I am in the process of doing. This picture will fit in well here. Here's the stand and mixing containers that I just put together yesterday. I already have the RODI unit. Now it's just a matter of hooking that up and plumbing the two containers.

I completely agree! And not making my own was not out of laziness - heck I've been hauling 4x5 gallon containers weekly from the LFS! I was just spatially limited which I am not now so it's time! I'm sure making my own water will do wonders to tank stability as well!

I've been looking for these Ace Roto Mold containers EVERYWHERE! The shipping charges on all vendors that I found in the past were more than the containers themselves! I then stumbled upon a website that shipped them for free!! Needless to say I jumped on that instantly! Those two are 45 gal each and were $185 shipped for the two.

How often/what do you guys feed your tanks? Corals especially? Please include any other nutrients as well such as Aminos, Reef Energy/Colors, Acro Power etc...
I feed every day. Alternating mysis. Krill. Rotifers. Brine w Spirulina Acro power one maybe twice a week. Just started that. Occasional coral frenzy. That's the SPS tank. Btw that a simple sump less cube as w in tank tunze 9001 skimmer an small job fuge. Haven't checked nutrients in almost three months. Good color great growth. Only Stomatella and couple snails and pods for cuc.
The 55 mixed is a whole different story.
