Hi,
I recently posted a thread regarding how I should restock my fluval 13.5, and was informed how a baggai cardinal would be way too large for my tank. That’s news to me!

Is this true? How big do these guys get? Is there any experience with them in nano tanks?

We are keeping them successfully in a 20 gallon desktop display. However, they are < 1 year of age and are 'Captive Bred.' There are several details that would make or break this setup. We will look into doing a writeup on this system, so you can follow along and judge yourself of whether it is worth the extra work for you.

I have two tiny baby bangaii and i would think they would do fine in a nano. Maybe when they get bigger you would need to upgrade but mine are small!

Thanks!

Live Aquarias website has decent size recommendations to work with for most fish species. They recommend 30 gallons minimum. I would recommend sticking for the adult size of the fish, not baby size.
