The thing about maricultured pieces is that they are cultured in the ocean. So you have to make sure your water chemistry is stable/dialed-in and matches natural sea water as much as possible.

Remove them from the plugs if you can. If not, then they need to be scrubbed, scrubbed again and dipped about a million times. ...these things can be full of pests and just one dip might not get eggs attached to the bases. I would coral QT these if you have the ability.

Otherwise, they pick most of them to be hardy in the aquarium. They know what they are doing and they chose that A. Valida in the pic above knowing that it can do well. They do not usually send Simplex, Lorpies and the like since they take more skill. Mille is about as hard of a AQ coral that I have seen.

They do need more flow and more spread for lights than frags.

If you have a stable tank and lights with good, even spread, then you should do fine. Other than this, colonies are different than frags and many times more difficult, but this applies to mari and tank-raised alike.

My first pieces were maricultured and are still killer pieces. What shop is it if you don't mind me asking

I was actually going to swing by there the other day while visiting my father in the Bronx. How is their coral section there?
