Hi guys, about a week ago I noticed this patch on my bali slimer. It doesn't seem like stn and hasn't spread at all. All other sps are fine it appears more like physical damage. My question is will it regrow new tissue?

I noticed it a week or so ago and its not got any worse (touch wood) is it possible for acros to regrow over skeleton?

It's absolutely possible for an acro to grow over dead skeleton. I've seen new growth over dead skeleton with my slimer and red planet.

It looks like there may be live tissue there, just the polyps have been stripped away. Maybe predation? Is there anything that might be nipping at it?

As mentioned before, I would monitor for further damage, and frag out the damaged area if it seems to be getting worse. Otherwise, it looks like a very healthy coral.

An old skeleton is essentially just a rock so yeah it cab regrow over it.
