Ball anemone or young coral?

So I found three of these little guys in the last week. I think they look like ball anemone but couldn’t find a pic of a ball anemone this color. They’re smaller than a pea.

So what do you think?

Ok I think it may be a coral. I was looking at another one and bumped it into a frag and it has a skeleton!

Looks like a tiny colony growing from a polyp bail out of a pocillipora, seriotopora, or stylophora.

I’d guess pocilopora. Do you have any in your tank? That stuff gets everywhere! Never again.

I do. In fact I have everything mentioned. As they get bigger I’m sure I’ll have a better idea. This is exciting

That it's not pointy likely rules out seriatopora. I think poci is most likely. Very cool!

Galaxea sp.? Torches have a markedly different polyp structure and the polys look very large to be a poci.

Ive never had galaxea in this system, but stranger things have happened. I’m going to leave them be, and see what happens. Lol I hope it doesn’t come back and bite me in the rear!

What kind of coral skeleton is that? I have had euphyllia that I thought was dead but left it in the tank. Noticed a tiny pinhead under the blues one night, it was new heads growing from the skeleton.

It's either a pocylopora or stylophora. Caused by polyp bailout.

galexea is my guess. Give that some space the sweepers can be very long 6 inches or more
