I was looking at my rockwork today and found that there was aprox. 25 visible ball nems all about 1 1/2" across. Do I need to worry about this and reduce thier numbers? If so, how do I do this...?

After further research, these guys aren't good for a tank. Copperbanded Butterflies will eat them, as well as Peppermint Shrimp and Matted Filefish.
Some conflicting reports as to weather or not the Orange Ball Nem is safe, well, that remains to be seen yet. To many reads out there to suggest they are safe.

You have to truly identify the Ball Nem first, as most out there are really from the Mushroom class, they are called Corallimorphidae, so ya gotta look see what you have.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. It seems like anything that can multiply as fast as these are are always bad.
