Ball type anemone or something evil?

Hello, I got a new coral today and after I put it in the tank something opened up on it. Is it a type of small anemone like a ball or is it an evil hitchhiker that I need to exterminate asap? (The coral hasn’t opened yet but I included a picture anyway because I think it’s a nice one.

By the time I was going to get a picture it appears to be gone. Possibly the dip killed it? I’ve looked several times and I no longer see them.
