I have to place a order this afternoon. What 400w ballast and bulb should I get?

Ok thats what I was thinking about going too. First what is the difference in the two ballast and when running those ballast are you using the adjustable ones?

Lumatek and galaxy are essentially the same from what I've read. The one difference I saw was the Lumatek comes with the cords to connect to the sunlight supply reflectors.
FWIW: I bought my Lumatek adjustables from Marine Depot as nearly every other place was out of stock when I ordered. Bulk Reef Supply has them in stock now too which is where I was going to order from initially. I'm running 250w radiums and love it.

Do you run you ballast on the super lumens setting? The cheapest I can find the galaxy for is $172 while I can get the Lumatek for $40 cheaper at marine depot. I just didnt know if the $80 difference was worth it.

Ok so I bought the Turbo galaxy 250-400watt ballast, with 400w radiums, and 2 Lumenmax2 reflectors. The only thing I'm wondering is should I run the radiums on the turbo mode or just the regular 400 watt mode?
