What's the pro's/cons in regards to electronic ballast compared to magnetic ballast?

I believe it's in how they differ in driving the lamp and efficiency
In my opinion magnetics are more reliable with less to fail

Electronic Ballast works best with Pulse Start Lamps
There are Probe Start Magnetic ballast
And there are Pulse Start Magnetic Ballast
Ballast has to match Lamp for Efficiency and lamp life.
Because of the energy codes, today's magnetic ballast are very close to electronic ballast efficiency.
Most of my electronic ballast lasted 10 years, the energy savings paid for the ballast
