Ballast replacement help please

I am replacing the ballast in a t5. Was sold ballast that are different. I have never done this before and want to get help so I don't mess up. Old ballast has six slots new has seven.

Follow the wire path as shown and you will be fine...

What about one having six slots ( the old) and new having seven ?

The hardest part is tracing the wires down in the fixture and seeing how your ends are bridged.
Its the center taps at the end of the lamps you may have to change.

that won't matter, as long as the wire paths to each bulb look like they way they do in the picture.

That is your center commons
Follow the wiring diagram on the ballast.

also take note of the power lines as they sit are in different orientation on the new one.
