I read a lot about aquarium stuff and and read a lot on here about what people doing or or asking for advice but I saw something about balling method just need some imfo or I don't need to worry about it or if can better help me with my aquarium

It's similar to two-part in that there are actually three parts, but the parts are designed to minimize or eliminate the accumulation of sodium ions and chloride ions that naturally occurs with "plain" two part.

This is mostly important in the long run and is much more important if you do few or no water changes.

ESV, for an example, is not entirely dissimilar from Balling. I'd imagine that Brightwell and Two Little Fishies two-part formulas are similar as well. But you should be able to get balling salts (liquid or dry) much more commonly these days if you want to try it out.

The rhythm of testing and dosing is the same with either two-part or Balling, so you're gaining good experience either way.

How do you dose and what you use

I've used all the ones I mentioned at one point or another, except Tropic Marin's Balling because it wasn't really available until more recently. Mostly I've been using Randy's DIY two-part, Recipe #2. (I'd stick with a commercial preparation until you've been doing it for a while. I switched after two or three years I think. I wouldn't bother with Recipe #1.)

For most of my time I dosed manually using a pair of drippers I made from orange juice bottles and some air valves. In the last year or two I've had an automated doser.

(A doser is not easier to use, BTW. Still takes the same intensive testing and adjustment period to get it tuned in and working right. The only difference is that it works when you're not there.)

I have been using Balling for as long as it has been out. Simple to use and get adjusted. I dose using a GHL doser very easy to use and program from a mobile phone. You can even use it to do ATO work by adding a level sensor to the unit.
