I bought some bam bams, and after a week they still haven't opened up fully, only partially. Any tips on placement, or things I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

Mod flow and lighting worked for me.

Mine are on the sand and i can't keep them from spreading overt everything.... to be honest they are almost a nuisance

My bam bam grows like crazy. Like any zoas, you need to find a spot and leave them a lone. While most zoas will opening up in hours of says, I had a zoa frag that took a few weeks to open up. As long as it looks plump and healthy closed up you should
Be ok.

where they a new frag? what lights do you have?

I have two Radions xr15w g4, and it was a new frag. In fact, I noticed all my zoas and palys have been mostly closed for a week. I tested the water parameters and everything seems normal. Is this normal behavior?

PH: 7.99
Nitrate: Less < 1
Salinity: 1.026
Alkalnity: 9.6
Calcium: 445
Magnesium: 1350
Ammonia: 0
Phosphate: 0
Temp: 78 to 79

Zoas like dirtier water. Less than 1 nitrate is probably why they are not opening. They need some nutrients to feed on. I would feed more or dose nitrate

I thought you want to keep nitrate, phosphate, and ammonia at 0 ?
