Are coral Banded Shrimp aggressive towards new fish?i just added a small Picasso humu and the CBS is trying to get him... any ideas?

If it comes to it the CBS goes back to the LFS, but i would like to keep both ideally.

The are opportunistic. Watching mine kill a bristleworm was pretty amazing.

I think it would be hard to imagine they would be able to catch any fish of size or of good health but I guess anything can happen.

Mine always lunged at fish swimming close to him too. Never caught one though.

minimal damage.just give it time and see what happens.you'll be ok.i'm sure someone will jump on here and tell ya they kill or damage everything but ive kept many cbs over the years with lots of fish with no deaths or damage.

It varies shrimp to shrimp, but I’ve lost fish to them. I think they go after them when the fish are asleep in the rocks.
