Banded coral shrimp feeding

Hi there! I got a banded coral shrimp 3 days ago and whenever I try to spot feed it it barley reacts! But it does notice it. It isn't as aggressive as I thought it would be while feeding. So is it still just adjusting to the tank? Does it only eat at night? I know this is a pretty stupid question but to anyone who replies, thank you!

No doubt it is still adjusting. Once it feels comfortable it will feed just as aggressively as you expected.

I have one myself and I have noticed it only comes out after lights out. Try feeding it then

my coral banded shrimp used to be a party favorite when I had people over, it always attacked the turkey baster. I used to feed him every second day, I had him alone in a 5 gallon with a few other hermits and snails, had him for 2.5 years. I miss it and thinking of getting another, its a great showpiece invert IMO

I love him, even if he's under a rock he makes it clear to the fish not to mess with him.

Smol update, the shromp is a bit more social and comes out when the flows off and I'm not close.
