Hey guys, I just added a Banded Snake Eel to my 65 gallon Reef. His name is ELVIS.

From my research they seem pretty reef safe.

Any tips on keeping them? Feeding....? Behavior....? etc...

I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

I had a snowflake eel for a while. I would definitely suggest getting some saltwater safe tong so you don't need to risk getting nipped when feeding (eels are quite blind and rely on their sense of smell to find food so a finger won't look to different than your finder to them). Also be prepared to find him in your sump/overflow/fuge. They are little escape artists and can get anywhere in your tank. Id recommend having a small net to lift him out of the tight crevices when he gets stuck. Sick name btw
