Banded trochus snail?

Was sold as a turbo snail. This thing is huge, like the size of an orange. How big will it get? Even being that size i can't hardly ever find him. He comes out mostly around 2 am every few days. Seems like he hibernates lol. How big will he get? I've had him about 6 months and was worried he wouldn't get enough to eat, but seems great. My bf just showed up with him one day lol.

Aww that's a cute pic, I do have 2 golfball size turbos as well, they grow so fast!

They will even breed in the aquarium

I did have some freshwater snail babies hatch last week! They're so cute on the glass lol

Different species have different life expectancies lol

I started with 15 trochus snails now I have like 55, but I've sold about 40 and there is like 60 babies in sump, probably that more in the rocks. But ya thats a big turbo

Trochus snails are more cone looking as adults

Yes, started out the same size as the Mexican Turbos but just kept growing.

Haha. Do you feed him or just let him graze? What gallon tank do you have?

It just grazes throughout the tank (144 gallon DT).

Yeah I got about 20 of these in my tank. Always thought they were just regular turbos but then I found a massive 6-7 inch shell in Port Royal and I dang near ticked miself. Lol
