Bangaicardinal pop eye please help

Hi. My cardinal had a pop eye since long. But recently it grew and white stuff is seen on the side of it. Is it bacterial. Any suggested treatment will be helpful.

Wow! That is some serious Pop-Eye. Suggest you treat the fish in a QT with erythromycin for 10-14 days. Also feed the fish with food mixed with Beta Glucan to help boost the fish's immune system: Food + Beta Glucan + Focus (binder) + a bit of water to mix.

Thanks for the reply. Erythromycin is antibiotic ? Can u suggest how much should I use. And I have no idea where to get beta glucan and focus. Can I get it from medical store ? Thanks for the help.

You can get all of them on Amazon. Most LFS also have Erythromycin on hand and Focus.

Most health food stores have Beta Glucan. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the big box stores did too, like Walmart, etc.

Thanks bro. But I live in Pakistan. . Will have to wait till meds arrive. I have got local fish store where I can get erythromycin. It’s 250mg each tablet. Can u suggest the quantity I can use in my QT. if u give me per day dosage per litter or gallon. I can calculate the rest. Really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Here's a pic of the back of the package. Says there is 200mg per packet. Hope this helps
