Bangaii Cardinal Breathing heavy against overflow

so I just noticed one of my bangaii cardinals is breathing heavy and laying on the bottom of the tank/ being blown around the tank.

The stomach looks slightly bulged and I can see some nipped fins , I notice the yellow tang and ocellaris clown both going after her a bit as she passes by.

I've been dosing the QT with kana plex.

thoughts on what I should do at this point for the bangaii?

there are several other fish in the QT with him and no one else is showing any signs of heavy breathing etc

Do you have an acclimation box or something else you can use to make sure the other fish aren't picking on her?

I'm sorry to hear that. Sometimes, its really hard to say why a fish passes. Especially with all the stress from shipping. Hopefully it wasn't a parasite and your other fish stay healthy!

If you still have the body, drop it in some tap water for 5 minutes and see if flukes come out.

I wasn't thinking and discarded the fish... it's a great idea though and I should have known better.

no I never witnessed it

the fish did have some nipped fins on the bottom... I'm not sure if the fish became ill and then started getting picked on or if vice versa.. but it couldn't have been more then a couple days

I dont think we have enough evidence to make a diagnosis on him. I'm sorry, but you will just have to keep a close eye on the rest of your fish. Watch for white stringy poo, yawning, head twitching and flashing or scratching.
