I have one bangaii cardinal (my gut says it's a female) and it's small.... about 1 1/2 inches or so. I'm a terrible judge of size. We recently got a full grown bangaii at the store as a trade in. They guy said it was really aggressive and beating up on his other fish. I have him in a tank with abotu 15 other cardinals and a small yellow tang and haven't seen any aggression out of him. I'm pretty sure it's a male. It's HUGE. Is there any way I could add him to my tank? I'm nervous about him becoming aggressive to my fish even though there is no sign of it right now. I have a purple tang and kole tang, so it's possible they will keep him in check right? If so, would there then be a possibility of him eating my smaller one? It's probably a dumb idea right? He's just so darn pretty!
