Bangaii cardinals

They need a significant amount of space per fish if keeping more than one. I wouldn't attempt more than one in less than 50g. Most schools will also do better with 5 or more to reduce aggression between the dominant members.
 
Can you have more than two? I want to get three but cant find a definitive answer.
Often, I see more than one fighting and often til death. There seems to be a dominant male in the batch in many cases. I had a trio and there is one male left
 
They look cool but they are difficult to keep IMO

I do not know your tank size. I have a 300 gallon and a pair did fine. Two pair worked for awhile until one pair decided the tank was big enough for them alone and the other pair kind of withered away. Now, my experience is not necessarily a definitive universal rule………
