Bangaii red area, not swimming well

Hi, I have a bangaii that's not swimming well any longer. Been about four weeks since our Hase and yesterday he was lazily hiding , today he was getting pushed around by power heads. He's developed red areas I noticed today. Is this uronema

Looks like hemorraging from injury or bite. You posted this yesterday and it does not seemed to have progressed. Also taking fish ot of water not a good measure when in distress realizing you want to post a clear image.
As mentioned, treat with seachem Neoplex or ruby rally pro and sooner the better

I didn't post anything yesterday, but I found a similar post by Winnie about her bangaii with a red spot too. Mine was wild caught and like jay mentioned it could be a virus. There's not anything that can really bite him in the tank (chromis, blue side wrasse) and I noticed it happen after adding a mussell for food in there. Could it bacteria related to that maybe. I was about to perform a quick rodi dip if it helps it. It's in a small container right now.

This looks like a bacterial infection - the treatment would be broad-spectrum antibiotics in a hospital tank as quickly as possible. Another possibility is uronema - but that would be atypical. The sooner the better - as far as treatment goes. best wishes - and good luck

i used kanaplex as its all i got on hand at the moment. the bangaii is in a aerated heated container at the moment.
i passed on the freshwater dip i was planning to do since its barely moving. i just see him breathing is all.
