Bangani Cardinals

I introduced 2 bangani cardinals to my tank 2 weeks ago. They literally haven't moved more than 6 inches from my purple torch since then. They eat every day so I'm not worried about them.

Is this normal? It's like they are living in the torch. I know that they live in urchins, but are they substituting the torch for an urchin?

Banggai Cardinals are certainly not the most active swimmers. They tend to just hover more than anything but they do get excited about food. That’s about the only time my guy leaves his little area.

Their life exists in a 6 inch area!! If they are happy with it, I don't care.

Agree with Brit`s Fish comment mine were like space movers seen them in the morning in one spot came home that evening still in the same spot not active at all except feeding time

They are really beautiful fish though. I’m always surprised how many people pick that fish out as their favorite when they’re looking at my tanks.

Always liked them have a urinch in the tank now so when they breed babies have somewheres to hide and be protected if that means anything
