I’ve had my 60 litre QT running for my second batch of fish. I added x1 Lawnmower Blenny on 24-Aug and have been dosing Stability daily. In the QT I have a sponge filter as well as a HOB filter. Ammonia badge shows zero.
Yesterday for my birthday I got x2 Banggai Cardinals and x2 Purple Firefish. Acclimated them over a couple of hours.
Everyone ok last night and fed only the lawnmower.
Tonight I sat down to have a look and found one of the Banggai upside down with gills flapping. I netted it out and put in an acclimation box to give it some space, but about an hour later it had died.
All other fish seem fine. The Banggai that died seemed ok (no obvious damage) but there was a redness towards the back of its body.
I’m just about to do some testing, but wanted your thoughts.
