My cardinalfish are nearing the end of QT, and I noticed these two bumps on the gill plate of one of them. They're at the bottom of the gill on its right side, and I first noticed them today. Any thoughts? The pictures aren't perfect but hopefully give an idea.

Are the bumps moving?
Have the fish been treated with anything?

I first noticed it last night, but I will see if they’ve moved tonight. No treatment, only observation. The only aggression was from one of this pair to the third that I removed for It’s safety.

Confirmed, same place on the gill plate. No larger today. Possibly a tad smaller.

Probably the bumps are from fighting. Watch for any redness, white filmy area or necrosis.

Have the fish been freshwater dipped to check for flukes?

Will do, thank you. I have not fresh water dipped them. For that do I just dechlorinate, match temp, and put them in it for 10min? Would it typically be done when you bring them home before going into QT or just some time before putting them in the display?
