Banggai cardinalfish dying

He was gasping starting yesterday and found him on the bottom still gasping today. It’s a QT tank. Parameters are fine, but I need a diagnosis. There is an orchid dottyback in there also, buts he’s fine.

I wouldn't call that "rapid breathing" per say... meaning it's an oxygen or gill problem

I would say there's smthg internal disease going on. I really don't think there is a miracle cure for the guy. You could FW dip him for 2-3 mins but that usually spells curtains 90% of the time.

Good news is a replacement is not that costly.
