I have a pair of banggai that breeds regularly and some of the fry survive. I normally can catch a few and move them to the refugium. The others stay in the main tank and have a good survival rate.
One of the baby banggai that I was raising with his siblings in the refugium, fell into the return compartment.
He was sucked by the pump, thrown into the tank, survived the journey and somehow landed in the ritteri anemone. He has been living there with a clown trio that accepted him.
Months have passed and I have been noticing that his mother is becoming more and more tolerant of him as he's approaching maturity. I am assuming it's a he.
Can she "use" the 2 males in alternation?
