Banggai&Pajama cardinal hybrid?

A customer at our store recently brought in 2 cardinals. One is obviously a pajama cardinal, the other Im not so sure about. It has the coloration of a banggai but the pattern of a pajama, however there is some resemblance to a banggai at some parts of his pattern. It was my understanding that the two couldn’t crossbreed, but it seems to have happened here. What do you guys think? I’ve also included images of him directly beside a pajama cardinal for easy comparison

Has marking of typical cardinal but much darker . Banghai has many polka dots and twin bars that are black.

looks like an Orbic (Sphaeramia orbiculares).

It’s an Orbic. Not commonly sold because of their lackluster colors.

Yeah that’s an Orbic, I find that they are the hidden gem in terms of cardinals with similar body shapes. It’s got the shape of a Pyjama cardinal but had the colours of a bangaii. It’s like a bridge way between the two species.
