Bangii Mouth Stuck Open

I was feeding my Bangii some frozen mysis shrimp today and he started eating normally when all of a sudden his mouth would no longer close. Been close to 3 hours and no change. Has anyone experienced this before? Is he going to be OK or is it going to die. He continued to feed and managed to swallow some food.

Appears that its jaw has dislocated. I have never seen this before. I am not sure what to tell you to do. I hope with time it will fix itself. #reefsquad can you help?

This appears to be distended mouth. It will sometimes fix itself and sometimes not. I've seen this in the past with Bangaii cardinals and it has been reported to happen with other fish as well.

Mouth was locked and intro of food generally will allow it to correct
