Barbed fittings

Im ready to plumb my aqueon 125 reef ready. It came with barbed fittings for the 4 bulkheads. 2 returns and 2 drains. I wana use mostly hard plumbing but id also like to use the bulk heads it came with. Can i just use a short peice of flexible tubing to connect the bulk head to the hard plumbing? And do they sell this adapter at home depot?

You can, but you would need another barbed fitting for the hard-pipe side. It would be simpler to just attach the hard-pipe plumbing directly to the bulkhead.
