Hey everybody!

I recently purchased a waterbox AIO 50.3 and plan on making this SPS heavy. Ill be going the bare bottom WWC method of heavy flow, only live rock (50 lbs in 50 gallon total), and t5 hybrid for my lighting. My question comes in with cycling - Ive never ran a bare bottom, started with dry rock before. My rock has been running in my system now for 2 years. They suggest a 4 month cycle, is this still necessary if I bring only "live" components? (rock + bioballs). Id definetly add MB7 after inital transfer, I just dont want any other mistakes to cause issues later!

If you’re moving wet live rock that is mature you will be ahead of the game
