Most of micro fauna grows and lives in sand and fuge if stocked I have my main sand and nano bare and just didn’t feel right being a nano u need everything u can get. So for population and fauna I added just enough 2 cover it 1/4 maybe and have it so he back blows 4ward now and pushes it 4ward and leaves the back bare. I almost wanted 2 make a tray or bar 2 hold 1/3 of the front for lps. It’s actually fun cause it self cleans so I’ll b using he same idea on my 75g. Drilled but not plumbed so just cycling the rock and prolly add 1-2 bags of sand. Just for fauna cause I love mandis.
