bare bottom tank with sand sleeping wrasse

Is there a way to keep sand sleeping wrasses in a bare bottom tank? for example would the wrasse be smart enough to sleep in several bowl shaped rock holding sand? or would doing half sand bottom half bare and seperating them with live rock so it cant spread work?

Yes they will sleep in sand boxes , but sand gets displaced when they dig into it
