Bare bottom ?

I have always had tanks with sand beds, and this most recent build I started is bare bottom. I have a bio brick in the sump to make up for the surface area as well. It looks so much cleaner and is much easier to maintain as well. I don’t know if I would do a sand bed on another tank at this point.

OP should keep the sand, given the hogfish. Or, at least, a bowl of the sand.
