Barnacle??????

Does anyone know what this is. It was stuck in one of the toadstool corals finger but has now recently moved onto the central coral. It looks almost like a barnacle. I will very soon update this page with a photo of it in a cup. Any ideas.

Can’t see much in the pics. If it has feather-like fingers that it kinda waves, it’s a barnacle. Also looks a bit like a gall crab, but really can’t see from the picture.

Don't think it's a barnacle then as I have never seen any feather fingers. Don't think it's a gall crab either as there is no hole it's burrowed in. I'll try to get it off the coral and get some better pics later today. It's in abit of a wierd position so it will take a minute to remove.

Sorry just noticed you said it moved. Did you see it move or is it just in a different spot? Are you sure it’s not just random debris?

Yes it has moved from inside a very small space to basically one of the fingers. It is definitely not debris as I use a turkey baster to blow of some shedding debris and it did not come of. It has however been on the coral the whole time.
