Barnacles on snail?

Few months ago I was cleaning some frag racks and found a barnacle looking shell. Since I have noticed what looks to be barnacles growing on a snails shell. Thought it was kinda cool but not 100% on if they are barnacles. Their shell has a spiral type structure.

They look like vermetid snails. Fairly harmless, but you may want to remove if they dramatically increase in number or irritate coral.

vermetid snails, they can bother coral so if you get the chance crush it with your finger.
