Hi guys. I’ve had a trio of bartlett anthias for about a month. Sometime yesterday one had most of their lower tail fin lost, and I believe it was bit off by one of my two clarks clownfish, which have been agressive toward the anthias since introducing.

I have moved the clowns to another tank, but am wondering if the anthia will grow the fin back. Or if anything should be done to help it heal.

Thanks.

Hard to say without seeing a picture. Healthy fish will grow superficial fin damage back remarkably quickly, but if the fin 'root' (not sure of the proper term) was damaged, it may be permanent.

Here’s a pic. Does not look bit off all the way to the root. Will see how it goes.
