Again, with respect to other anthias, they are a 4. They can be some of the more aggressive species available, especially with each other. With respect to other fish,they rate a 2. They can bully or intimidate small, passive fish such as firefish.
Not saying that you cannot have them together as I've had several species in smaller aquariums it's just a territorial thing as like the blotches I have they seem to get along with just about anything
Yes I agree as all fish we always know that there is territorial rights to certain breeds over others and for the anthias they do have a few that are really not recommended to mix but as we all know we still do and usually never have a problem it is nice to see the combination of the different strains of them together it sure does make your aquarium very colorful at my shop I always do what most of the information sites say not to in mixing different fish together and or if they say reef safe or not safe, last with caution I experiment in a 60 gallon aquarium to see how everything fares I always find that as long as there's some hiding places everything gets along pretty well as long as there is not one person there that is oh lets use the black Hawaiian trigger and firefish together they say you can't do that but my fire fish and triggers get along just fine and the trigger is 10 inches long now and the silversides i feed the trigger with are bigger than the fire fish and or any other small fish pseudochromis and so on so there's always that if factor but I always think it's just the way you do the introduction to the tanks with the new fish
It would be best to get an equal amount of lyretails to the number of bartletts.
