Hello Reer2Reef S.A.C., ive been a reefer for about 6 months or so, before that I had no saltwater experience, just freshwater.

My first tank was a disaster(10 Gallon), my second tank was a disappointment(55 Gallon) and hopefully this tank (8 Gallon AIO) will survive the battle.

Ecotech Vortech Mp10esW
Par 30 bulb & gooseneck.
Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper Lite plus w/ph probe and temp probe.

Chemical Filtration:
Carbon and GFO

Sand:
10LBS of Hawaiian Black Sand

Rock:
BRS Pukani

One of the things ive always been was a neat freak, I hate seeing bad wiring.

I got love for you! The tank and setup is looking AWESOME!!!! It looks like a 100+gallon tank in the first few photo till you step back and show the who setup.

So my doser power adapter was a faulty one and am now waiting on a replacement. I only have added a bit more sps and havent changed much of the tank other than a small rescape.

This little feller is doing aight.

FTS 9-27-13 - Began to redo my electrical and had to go to work so this is the last of what I could do. I know its ghetto as hell but for now its ok.

The picture does it noooooo justice, its so bright and I see another head budding out.

Thats all I have peeps sorry. All my frags are doing well. They are at my friends 90Gallon tank. They look great though.

I forgot to mention. Im planning a dual 40 breeder build one DT and one sump. But thats still ways away. Anyways.

May I offer a suggestion and tell you to.yank the gsp now .in that small of a tank it is gonna become a problem sooner than later
Also.I kinda liked the first scape the best .
Can you tell me how often and how much water is involved in waterchanges and how much do you loose to evaporation

The gsp is on its own island where no rock is touching it.

I didn't like the first scape because I couldn't get good par other than the top of the rock.

I do weekly water changes.

I also top off every other day I would say I evaporate about a gallon a week. That's with a lid on and without a lid I lose about a gallon in 4 days.
