I couldn't find any containers I liked so I went with five gallon buckets for now. All the elements mixed easily in the five gallon buckets and I plan for now to use 1 gallon jugs that I will refill with the buckets. At some point if I continue using the Base Elementz I'll have acrylic containers made but that isn't going to be cheap so for now it's 1 gallon jugs. For labeling the labels that come on the containers are very easy to remove and reapply well.

Please post any info you have on the containers you are using or plan to use and if possible where to get them

Thanks!

I use these for mixing http://www.containerstore.com/shop?showDS=true&Ns=default&Ntt=2.5+gal.+Slimline+Fridge+Jug&submit=
For dosing I use Vertex Libra Vessel 2.5S, they are stackable.

Gene

I used one of those to make an acclimation box, cut and add screen material, done. Walmart sells them much cheaper. Glad I kept reading, I wouldn't have thought about a leaking failure.

What about Poland spring water jugs from the grocery store? I believe they have 2.5 gallon jugs...

Very cool, but I just noticed the cap appears to be sold separate!?! Placing the labels on the larger containers is brilliant!

They have an option to get them with a cap that's what I ordered. I was very happy that the label came off as easy as it did and they went back onto the buckets like a new sticker.

Those are a good size and shape and look like they may be made a little better than the ones I ordered but they aren't clear and I really like to be able to see at a glance how full they are. Do you have an easy way to moniter the level of the 4 part?

They are not clear but they are transparent. They are also marked with different graduations.

3A+B together with 8 litres of RODI

It is possible to keep them separated as some people found that the solution would crystallise. I have never found this.

The other two bottles are Iodine and waste water.

And the 2' thing? Is a 5' feather mouthed sea cucumber :-)

Cheers Tim

Finally got my Doser back up and running :xd:

This is behind the wall behind my display tank. A refugium and frag system sit opposite this as well.
