Base Rock

I"m setting up a 32 gallon biocube and am considering using 3-4 pieces of faux base rock at the base of my aquascape then finish it off with live rock. Has anyone used this type of rock and will soft corals grow over it?

Most corals will grow on just about anything.

I believe it's called aragonite

Most likely "Aragocrete" which is aragonite sand and portland cement used to make "fake rocks". Corals will happily grow on it, assuming it has been cured for a while.
