I am planning to install a 625XL and I have abasement on an older house. Anyone has any photos of how to reinforce the floor?

Should I reinforce or shall I just install without an issue?

Some pictures of what you have for framing in the basement, below where the tank will go, would be helpful. Will the tank run perpendicular or parallel to the floor joists?
Parallel which is worse. I was thinking of buying some floor jacks and doing a concrete base for the floor jacks.

As soon as I can get in my basement I will send you some photos.

Thank you for your response.

I would have someone look at it first. Either a contractor or a structural engineer. I am in a similar situation with a 180 gal. But I have a full basement to work with. I t gets a lot trickier with just a crawl space.

Cut A 4' x 4' hole in your floor and make a huge lookdown tank using concrete :p

Hire a professional if you want, seems unnecessary to me LOL. Couple of jack posts will do the trick for a tank many times larger. Just put one under the joists closest to the front corners of the tank. You really don’t need a concrete footing either. Ground in a crawl space under an old house will have had many years to compact. I put jack posts onto a concrete paver. No moves!

Floor probably won’t fail, but it will deflect and bounce. Jack’s prevent both. Well worth $200.
