Hey all

Those of you with basement sumps how are you supporting the plumbing coming through the floor? Pics?

I have everything mostly plumbed now but don’t like not having it supported in some way.

Thanks!

I used nylon duct strap, and sheet metal screw into the cold air intake duct in my basement. But if you had joists, you could still use the same nylon duct strap. At least the nylon strap should be more resistant to saltwater, not that it should ever get wet. Just loop it around your pipes and secure it with a screw or 2.

Good idea. I don’t really have any horizontal runs. They come right down from the tank to the sump
