Basement sump room

I would like to build a sump room in my basement for a 60 cube build I am planning. My biggest hurdles that I am facing are.
1) There is no sink or pre-plumbed drains in my basement for one. There are however two loosely capped 4" pvc pipes sticking 24" or so out of the floor in opposite corners of the basement. I have no idea what they are for. Any ideas?
2) We have a well (it's Maine) and I don't want to tax it making RO/DI for top off and water changes. The total system will be +- 130 gal.
3) Humidity, we have a dehumidifier in the basement already (not in use). However, I am very concerned about creating an environment hospitable to Black Mold.

What do you guys think about these issues? Has anybody over come similar problems? If so how?

My entire tank and fish room is in my basement without any access to a sink or drain (other than my sump pump which I use when making RO/DI water). The pipes can be a lot of things....possible a rough-in for a sink or washer? Since they are capped, maybe a cleanout for a sewer line or even a radon remediation pipe (which stick out about 4" and are capped). Does your basement already have a lot of humidity? I don't notice anymore humidity in my basement then I did when I didn't have the DT down there. I do have a dehumidifier that I can run (and do) throughout the summer during heavy rains.

There is not a lot of humidity, just some of that white crust that forms on the cement walls. But there is no palpable moisture on the walls, the dehumidifier will take care of any excess from the system. My #1 concern is lack of waste plumbing. We don't have a sump pump in our basement, the house was built in '96 so no water infiltration issues. I may have to get a consult from a plumber to check them out. Not sure how psyched the boss will be about that, but we will see. There is a LFS not too far away that sells RO and Saltwater that will deliver. I'm not sure of the cost per gallon, but with a few 50 gallon buckets that could be an option and lowish monthly maintenance cost.

I build in sc. The two pipes I'm 100 percent positive are for waste wash out.pump into it It's not hard to tap right into them that's why they are there. Now we don't have basements here in charleston but growing up in Baltimore I had a basement and that's where my room was with my parents. We had a sumo that my pops installed his self. Basically broke concrete and added a pump into it. From there we ran a pipe to the wash out that was plumbed into the basement.
