Some time ago, I wished I had a way to avoid packing buckets of water. Water change days were just not fun.

With a new build a couple years ago and a new house (Thank god for a understanding, beautiful, loving wife's support!), I decided to design a way to stop packing buckets. Years ago and a different house, I had a basement sump, But still packed buckets! No more!

Check it out, it may give some ideas on your basement sump adventure!

Great job. Very smart idea and setup.

Thanks, I'll have to work on my video skills and post production! Lol

Being able to leave the system running during the change is a nice feature.

Ha ha.... wasn't too bad. Leaving the tank running while doing a water change is awesome. You can do a 20 gal water change faster than I can do 5 gal.

awesome... your return pipe comes from where?
can you show the where that flex pipe that you have on the return pump coming from?

Yep.

I have nothing but rock in the sump, no snails.....etc. I should put a screen on the inlet though, just to be safe.
