please add pics as well.
I'm looking at organized ideas. How do you organize all the supplies and goodies?

First time with a basement sump. I have lots and lots of room.

Controller locations. I was thinking of DJ power strips down stairs for switching on and off and controllers up stairs?? I'm tired of running up and down to cut power or change things.

WIFI is your friend. No pics, I'm at work but, I have sicce syncra 9.0 and vortex pumps. All WiFi, so if I need to cut power for whatever reason I do it on my phone. I also nixed in my sump under the stairs and mounted controllers on the wall outside of it where I can see it easily.
No apex here, not sold on that yet.

how does you sicce syncra9.0 work for you? i'm thinking of using it for my basement sump but unsure how it will do pumping 11 ft up?

I use a SICCE Syncra SDC 9.0 for my basement mixing station, and then pump upstairs. It works well for that but I would not use it for a return for a few reasons.

- I dislike how little contact the slip fitting has. It’s really minimal, to the point where I initially had a leak. They sent me new unions in a hurry though.
- it’s louder than some other DC options

For 11 ft? I would try one of the mega big Jebao sine wave based pumps. You can run it at lower RPMs. 11 ft is easily doable by one of the big ones.

My basement fish/sump room is the antithesis of neat and organized. I’ve hard wired everything (WiFi is certainly not MY friend). I figure if you can run a water pipe down from the tank it should be a trivial excercise to run up a single USB cable to connect all the modules under the stand. If you’re using something like apex, you can shut stuff down through fusion on a tablet.

Under my stand is my controller for the main pump. (yes, it is wired that long) so, if for some reason wifi or if I don't have my phone I can easily shut it off from there. The wifi is nice because I can be anywhere to shut it off if there is a problem.

Yeah, that’s true and I do the same. I just prefer to hard wire all modules like apex brain and reeflink. Not sure if it’s even possible to connect apex modules wirelessly?
