Basic controller for Plank Feeder.....................what options?

What options can I use to program a plank feeder to turn on and off during the day.
How long do people usually set them to run?

Something as simple as a kasa smart plug would work, or any programmable timer you can plug into an outlet.

Mines on a Kasa smart plug. I run mine for 2 minutes at a time. However, you need to test it with whatever food you are using and see how much dumps for every minute ran.

thanks - I have a timer that will do a 1min but I was convinced the timer would only need to run for 10-20sec. Thanks - my reef factory smart plug 1min minimum, expensive yes, its the software that sells it... . what food is best? My tank is 190G ..cheers

The food would be based on your needs. I am using their reef jerky mixed with seaweed extreme pellets. I have found that freeze dried krill is typically too large.
