So this happened -

Building the stand - thanks for all the DIY stand builds -

Prepping for 48” x 24” x 12” Aquarium Master tank.

Done except for 3/4” plywood for the tank base.

A suggestion, use a pocket screw jig to fasten the tops and sides. You could have used it for the legs and supports also but they are already finished. The combination of pocket screws and glue will make your stand crazy strong. You can find these in almost any big orange box hardware store. You may also want to consider leveling feet. Nice work!

Good idea. I used this style bit, but I definitely like the jig. I have a “laser eye” already but can’t beat precision every time!!

Thinking about going with these for leveling feet. They say rated for 8,000lbs so even if I get a 1/16th that rating I may be good. The floor is about 1/4” off on the front corner.
