Battery Backup for Cor and Varios Pumps

Hello everyone, I am looking to get a new return pump and battery back up, a lot of bad reviews on the eco-tech. I was looking into the Neptune cor pumps, Yes I have an apex… And also the highly reviewed reef octopus DC pumps. Does anyone know, or has anyone made a eco-tech or ice cap Battery back up work with either of these pumps? Or is there another option that does not involve putting a car battery in the living room?

I really like my ice cap battery back up. It comes with a bunch of connectors to connect to various other pumps. I'm not sure what size reutnr you are going with but I know you can daisy chain multiple ice caps to handle higher loads.

Anyone have any experience? I know a lot of the guys with Vectra went to Cor?
